We will design a approach to recognize symptoms unique to your nervous system and body.
Build a sustainable recovery plan that is meant to work for you, not what worked for your boss or colleague.
Having gone through burnout in 2025 where I felt and looked like “death,” I have actively walked this fire where identifying:
setting non-negotiables in the form of healthy boundaries that you can realistically follow
actively advocating for yourself, either verbally or physically
integrating how you operate vs. the rules you must follow in work & personal environments
-
After navigating career pivots from consulting to therapy to coaching, I can say that this period is often filled with anxiety, frustration, fear, and a lack of direction and clarity. This is okay - in fact, it’s normal.
Working with me entails:
An exploration of your current path and what is no longer working for you
A questioning of what piqued your interest in the past, and what intrigues you today
A coach who will provide honesty, warmth, and practical support during this excruciating, yet exciting time navigating choppy & uncomfortable waters.
-
Oftentimes, when we encounter a period of stuckness, of rigidity, of routines that no longer fit who we want to become, we lose our sense of selves.
To regain a sense of who we are underneath layers of our old identities, I will help you explore what your ideal self looks and feels like.
To become the ideal version, we meet in our coaching sessions + you will do the work necessary to enact these changes in your life so they stick with you for the long-run.
For this work:
We explore multiple identities or focus on the one identity that wants to be heard, witnessed, and molded
Identify your ideal self: What does he/she/they look like? sound like? feel like? dress like? write like?
Enact changes in session, outside sessions where I become your accountability partner
I will probe to ensure this new version you are living fits with who you want to be in this time of your life
about me
I'm Jun-Li. I've done the necessary — yet painful and transformative — work of unbecoming everything I was told to be, across my professional and interpersonal identities.
Walking through that fire doesn't have to be scary, and you don't have to do it alone. I didn't.
Throughout my life, I've prioritized having a healthy circle of mentors. They come in many forms — therapists, coaches, chosen and biological family, friends, and dance communities that have shaped who I am today.
It takes an entire community to bring the version of you that you want to life.
This is the space where that journey happens.
Openly. Freely. Judgment-free.
My Process
-
A brief initial conversation to assess mutual fit, discuss your goals, and answer any questions before beginning our work together.
-
A deep-dive where we evaluate your current landscape and build a roadmap tailored to your short- and long-term goals.
-
Dedicated 1-on-1 sessions where we bring the work to life: tracking progress, processing insights, and integrating tools into your daily life.
-
A final session to reflect on your journey, celebrate key breakthroughs, and solidify your momentum as you transition to navigating your path independently.
Values
-
Dig up cherished memories, unspoken words, desires, and needs that haven’t seen the light of day. We will walk hand-in-hand with parts that have been hidden due to shame, guilt, or oppression. This may take time however, it is equally important to hear our other identities speak up. We love our unearthed parts.
-
A deep exhalation. This is an unapologetic and intuitive decision made by you, for you.
We set boundaries that feels natural and protect what you value most.
-
Exploration without a container is unsafe and unpredictable. We build yours together — free from other’s expectations, institutional ‘shoulds’, gender norms, and societal rules.
-
Trusting your gut requires brutal honesty. We do not shy away from honesty, rather, we step forward to face what’s hidden underneath years or decades of people pleasing and pretending to be someone you are not. This is where the most genuine parts of you may reawaken.
-
Life is too short to judge. Every body was born into this world and exists to share our talents, strengths, and gifts with our loved ones, our communities, and strangers we meet along the way. All parts of you are welcome when you work with me.
My Story
Authenticity Unearthed™ offers somatic coaching for mid-career professionals who are burned out, and find themselves in need of a coach who has their needs in mind. After two decades of movement training with my Master’s in human relationships and well-being, I offer an integrated approach of somatics (body in Greek) with our psyche (mind in Greek) to build a sustainable and healthy relationship with ourselves.
My life experiences as an American-born Chinese taught me that there is so more to life than a single identity that we so often get praised for—whether at work as a stellar employee or Type A Manager, or the one responsible friend who plans everything all the time without a break.
With an adventurous spirit, I yearn to discover life beyond the boxes we live in. From solo international trips abroad to workout classes that gave me a wide breadth of movement from: contortioning to trapeze gave me a blueprint of just how capable and resilient we are as creatures and fellow human beings on this planet.
In 2025, I realized that by being fixated on this one version of myself (the part of me that overgives) burned me out. In this time of looking and feeling like death, I used tools that integrated rest, sound, light movement, and an overhaul of my relationship to others and myself.
I honored the parts that were SCREAMING to be heard, YEARNING to be understood, and WANTING to be embraced. This led me to honor the pieces tucked away in my youth—they deserve to be celebrated.
My philosophy: Our relationship with ourselves is the most important one we have. It constantly shifts in relation to our environments and the people we surround ourselves with. Our future brightens when we choose to honor the voices within us that want what is best for us.
